Michelle Zachry, DVM
Associate Veterinarian

Michelle began her adventures in veterinary medicine in 1991 as an emergency veterinary assistant while on active duty as a linguist in the Air Force. She moved home to Southern California and became an emergency technician (unlicensed) until graduating with a Biology major and Zoology minor from California State Polytechnic, Pomona in 1998. She received a 4-year scholarship from the US Army Veterinary Corps to Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2002, and immediately going active duty for the Army Veterinary Corps until 2006. In the Army, Dr Zachry worked a busy clinic, a stray facility, on-base stables, worked with Military Working Dogs and Cavalry Horses and Mules, and ensured a lot of public health. She has special interest emergency and critical care and feline geriatric medicine. She and her 9 cats are grateful to be living in the stunningly beautiful PNW. Together they love to organically garden, snuggle and watch (and chatter) at birds.
